The Connections Project is seeking feedback on its draft Third Reedy Lake Environmental Report.
The Connections Project plans to construct a bypass channel (1.4 km) and associated infrastructure to disconnect Third Reedy Lake from the Torrumbarry irrigation system.
The bypass channel will introduce a new water regime to Third Reedy Lake that will improve the ecological condition of the lake and return 1.6 GL of water savings to the Commonwealth.
The project has developed a draft Environmental Report as required under assessment and approval criteria from the Victorian and Federal governments.
A copy of the draft report can be downloaded at the link below:
Associated background documentation is also available.
Consultation on the Third Reedy Lake daft Environment Report was open from 21 November, 2017 to 5 December 2017.
